Under 11 Coaches Blog
24-Apr Great end to the season
It wasn't a great game, but in my opinion, the victory was probably the sweetest of all our wins.
All credit goes to the boys, as I had to ref, the boys made all their own decisions, worked hard as a team and probably learnt more about the game from this match, than all the others put together.
So well done boys, you deserved it, and thank you for your efforts over the season.

19-Apr Thanks!
Just a quick note to say a big thank you for those lads and parents that gave up a couple of hours yesterday to help out with our FA Youth Module 1 coaching course.
It was great to be able to coach children rather than the adults doing the course.
We all enjoyed it, and from the feed back from the kids, they enjoyed it.
So thanks again from me and all of the other coaches on the course.

14-Apr Good Luck U11's
Good luck to everyone involved with the U11 Blue in your first cup final on Sunday.

Sorry I can't make it (I'm on another coaching course).

Do yourselves proud, and have no regrets, enjoy the day and play your normal game and I'm sure you can bring back the silverware.

All the very best!

C'mon!

06-Apr Tough Game
Tough game on Saturday vs Silverstone. All the boys need to be on their game, if not we could get beat.
Silverstone are a good side but in recent games, have just scrapped through, so I don't see any reason why we can't be victorious.

Come on boys, do it for yourselves on Saturday.

Good Luck!

31-Mar Thanks!
Firstly, thanks for braving the cold tonight, if I'd have know it was going to be that cold I wouldn't have organised it, so big thanks for braving the cold.

Another learning curve, playing 9 a side, I thought 1st half we played realy weel, fairly well disciplined in holding positions, and really pleased to hear and see good constructive communication. Unfortunately when changes were made I thought we lost our way a bit, but a bit gutted for the boys not getting a goal which I think we deserved.

But well done anyway!

27-Mar Well done lads!
Hard fought game today, with some what I can only describe (without getting into trouble) some over exhuberant challenges from Brixworth.

Well done to you boys for keeping your heads and putting in yet another good team performance.

I wouldn't say it was one of our best performances, but the important thing is that you all played for each other, as a team.

Joseph, what can I say about your 1st goal, what a beauty! and John your penalty struck with such authority!

Lets keep it going for the last few games.

18-Mar Saturday's Match
We're away at Delapre Dragons on Saturday KO 10:45.
Looking at their past results, this could be a tough game so bring your 'A' game.
Good luck lads.

14-Mar I'm Buzzing!
Over the moon! After 2 more gruelling days chasing the leather bag of wind about at Moulton College, I have finally completed my FA Level 2 Coaching Badge, and I PASSED!
Well deserved beverage tonight I think.
Probably won't be able to walk tomorrow, so training could be interesting!

11-Mar Have a lie in!
Free week this week, so no game.
I've been selfish and not organised a friendly as I'm doing what will hopefully be my final assessments for my Level 2 Coaching Badge.
Have the weekend off and have a lie in!
See you on Monday for training.

08-Mar-10 Like watching Barcelona!
What a game on Saturday! it was like watching Barcelona (well almost). But it was nice to see that the hard work in training paid off.
The boys moved the ball well, shot on site of goal, communicated really well, and most of all played with a smile on their faces.
Well done boys!
